Rules & Guidelines
Whether you would like me to create a character illustration, book cover, or illustrate your picture book, then you have come to the right place. Below is a list of guidelines for my services, so please read carefully!
The Work
When requesting an illustration, please make sure to include a complete, detailed description of your request: species, pose, background, physical description(s), identifying marks, and any additional parts you think are important.
Absolute No-Nos
• I will not draw copyrighted characters, except for Trade Requests (see bottom of the page).
• I will not re-draw someone else’s picture unless I receive written permission first.
• Sexy is ok, nude is ok (if tasteful), but I will not draw Yiff or Porn or any of the like.
Pricing & Payment
Prices vary depending on the length and complexity of a project. To request a quote, please contact me or fill out this form.
I ask for a 50% deposit of the quoted price before I begin work. The other half is required before I send the finished piece.
I accept the following for payment (US funds only):
• Money Order (preferred)
• PayPal (preferred)
• Personal Check (check must clear before finished work is sent)
I will send you a finished print of the commission (any size), if requested. **Note: cost of printing and shipping & handling will be added to the final cost. Requests must be received before the work begins**
Please know that you will be included throughout the entire process. I will show you the preliminary sketch, the clean sketch, the base coloring and final product. You will be allowed one set of revisions during each phase, if needed. Additional revisions are available, if needed, at an additional cost.
Shipping:
If a print is requested (on digital work), print costs and shipping & handling charges will be added to the final price. Cost of shipping varies upon location.
Unless agreed upon beforehand, I own the copyright on the artwork created. Therefore, no reproductions are allowed except with written permission by me. However, you may purchase the copyright from me for an additional cost (price depends on the piece).
Out of respect, I do not make any prints of commissioned works (other than when requested by you) unless specifically given written permission.
